Job Description
Role
To provide expertise to facilitate a Learning & Development solution to the business. Evolving existing offerings by improving processes and practices which facilitate and encourage blended learning and self-owned development. Partnering with the Learning & Development Partner in the UK to ensure a cohesive approach is taken to developing workforce capability; as well as supporting subject matter experts in the delivery of mandatory learning and other specific material. Work with the HR Business Partners to develop and deliver the learning and development elements of our HR people plan.Responsibilities
- Creating an L&D policy which supports both the financial regulated and technical sides of the business;
- Promoting diversity at all levels through policy development, as well as, fair and consistent practical implementation;
- Identifying training and development needs within the business through job analysis, appraisal reviews and regular consultation with line managers and HRBPs in order to support career development, and internal mobility;
- Designing and implementing a variety of developmental initiatives, action plans, programmes, and training material aligned with both individual and organisational needs;
- Delivering a range of training using face-to-face, digital and blended learning options, ensuring content is accessible, relevant, and engaging;
- Evaluating training and development programmes, and preparing reports for stakeholders in areas such as usage, engagement and performance;
- Managing L&D suppliers and platforms, regularly reviewing the development offering. Measuring and evaluating impact of learning solutions to inform future activity and assessing the return on investment of any training and development programme;
- Maintaining accurate records of development spend and committed spend to support HR in order to maintain L&D budget; and provide accurate forecasts;
- Supporting the development of a learning culture by creating and engaging learning champions across the business to assist with content sharing;
- Supporting subject matter experts in ensuring that statutory training requirements are met or other specific training material is delivered accordingly;
- Supporting the development of early careers, through work experience placements, internship programmes, graduate programmes as well as establishing an apprenticeship framework, in order to utilise apprenticeship levy spend;
The Successful Applicant
Key Skills
- Proven experience as an L&D Manager including design, development & facilitation.
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices, ideally LinkedIn Learning, Intuition and Workday Learning
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
