Job Description

The Legal Counsel will be an individual contributor interacting with internal clients on a daily basis. This role will focus on supporting the data and index licensing business lines, serving as a legal business partner. Main responsibilities will involve the drafting and negotiating of complex customer and partnership agreements related to commercial licensing, index licensing, data licensing, etc.

The Successful Applicant

  • JD from top US law school
  • Admitted to NY State Bar
  • At least 5 years of experience with commercial technology licensing transactions, either at a top law firm or in-house in the financial or technology sector
  • Experience drafting and negotiating challenging and complex index licensing, data licensing, software licensing transactions
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced and high energy environment
