About Our Client

Job Description
This role will be an important part of a small US Legal team, reporting to the Head of Legal - Financial Markets. The Legal Counsel will be able to work on a broad range of legal matters, with a focus on:
- Advise internal clients on legal and regulatory matters affecting the Financial Markets and Debt Capital Markets businesses
- Provide guidance on CFTC, SEC and FINRA regulations as well as various other bank regulatory matters
- Primary focus on advising on structured products transactions, securitizations, REPO, underwriting and derivatives

The Successful Applicant
- JD from US law school
- NY State Bar Admission
- 2-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney advising on structured products transactions, derivatives, regulatory and underwriting matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with willingness to take initiative
