Job Description
Role will report directly to the Head of Legal and will support the business's real estate investment activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Advise the business on a wide range of legal matters pertaining to investment activities and transactions
- Manage your own deals and transactions from start to finish, negotiating and drafting all related agreements
- Assist in the management of outside counsel
- Work closely with global legal team members on various projects as needed
- Work with the front office team and all internal stakeholders, serving as a true business partner
The Successful Applicant
- JD from top law school with excellent academic credentials and GPA
- Admitted to NY State Bar
- 3-6 years of experience within the Corporate or M&A Practices of a top 50 AmLaw firm
- Experience working on corporate transactions, finance and private investment fund matters is highly preferred
- Experience working on deals from start to finish
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to think critically, offering internal stakeholders solutions to legal matters
