Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive sustainable growth in the packaging sector.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellence in packaging production processes.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-quality packaging solutions.
  • Analyze financial performance and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and packaging clients.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations within packaging manufacturing.
  • Identify and seize market opportunities to expand the company's presence and strengthen its position in the packaging industry.
  • Report directly to the Board, providing transparent updates on progress, performance, and strategic initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Managing Director should have:

  • Proven leadership experience within the packaging industry, ideally in industrial/manufacturing environments.
  • Extensive experience in sales and business development, including managing commercial teams and driving profitable growth in packaging markets.
  • Strong track record in strategic planning and end-to-end operational management.
  • Excellent financial acumen with the ability to make sound, data-driven business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, and manage diverse and cross-functional teams.
  • Solid experience in stakeholder management, customer relations, and negotiating with key clients and partners in the packaging sector.
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
