About Our Client
Our client is the global market leader in energy storage technology solutions and services.
Oversees the process of biweekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls for an employee base of 500+ consisting of exempt and non-exempt employees, utilizing the ADP Workforce (WFN) payroll system.
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
Have expert knowledge of tax treatment and processing requirements for wages and employee benefits.
Process garnishment calculations and compliance.
Receive and document any necessary approvals prior to processing any nonstandard payments.
Process accurate and timely year end reporting (W2's etc)
Update and reconcile statements from ADP
Monitor changes and remain current on legal, regulatory, or governmental requirements.
Oversee the preparation of required repots or payment to government agencies, insurance companies or other organizations
The Successful Applicant
Must have knowledge in registering employees in various state
Proficient in MS Excel including advanced formula functions.
6+ years multi-state payroll experience and wage and hour laws; 8+ years managerial exp
Experience with month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations as it related to payroll
Expert knowledge in in Federal & State HR/Payroll Laws (FMLA, FLSA) and IRS regulations that impact payroll
Extensive knowledge of ADP
