My client operates in the insurance sector.

Job Description

Monitor Non motor claims operations to ensure that they are being processed in a professional manner according to applicable Terms & Conditions.
Ensure that Non motor claims are handled in an efficient and timely manner as per established processes, workflow and set KPIs.
Liaise with Loss Adjustors and act as intermediary between them and the policyholders and/or Brokers and other intermediaries.
Act as contact person with Brokers and other intermediaries.
Prepare claims letters for rejection of claims or technical issues to be clarified by policy holders/representatives.
Collaborate actively on technical committees.
Work in close collaboration with underwriting, reinsurance, finance, legal departments, amongst others.
Be the point of contact of legal advisers and internal legal department.

The Successful Applicant

ACII, Law degree, Management degree or any other equivalent qualifications
More than 10 years of experience in relevant position
Sharp knowledge of scope of cover of Insurance Policies, Terms and Conditions, underwriting guidelines and reinsurance terms
Experience in handling of complex claims
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and coach a team
