About Our Client

Our client is s Retail Shop Concept solution provider, with their creative design team, own manufacturing site and good service, it has owned its place and reputation industry. This role will manage the full P&L in Greater China, responsible fro the APAC strategy formulate and executing, play an important role in driving business performance.

Job Description

  • Respnsible for the Asia business to execute, drive sales growth in APAC region and ensure profitability and sustainability of the Asia business.
  • Reponsible for all functions within Asia organization, including Commercial, Customer Service, Project Engineering, Operations (Production, Quality, Warehouse, Manufacturing Engineering, Lean & CI), Sourcing, HR & Admin, Finance and EHS. As well as Malaysia teams and distributor network across APAC.
  • Drive new business development, build solution sales capabilities, drive customer project management process to ensure customers receive the right quality, at the right time, for the right price.
  • Built capabilities to ensure ability to deliver turn-key projects and solutions to customers, including design, sustainable innovation, production, delivery & logistics, on-site installation & construction, and after-sales service.
  • Together with central R&D functions, manage the Technology R&D teams in China. Manage product portfolio in Asia, ensure standardization and modularization of products to support operational excellence.
  • Ensure continuous enhancement of operational excellence level through executing and improving the operating model, which including production system, supply chain system and sales/account management system.

The Successful Applicant

  • Able to put customer needs in focus and develop solutions to fit those needs.
  • Strong ability to define ways of working, design closed-loop processes, organization, and incentive structures to execute implementation.
  • Capable of building and executing business strategy.
  • Able to achieve operational excellence with lean approach.
  • Ability to collaborate in complex matrix structure.
  • Proven initiative taker with emphasis on constant learning and adaptation to drive business forward in a changing global marketplace.
  • Demonstrated lean approach to build continuous improvement culture and data driven decision making.
  • More than 5 years' experience in Managing Director or GM role at project-based production organization, or low volume high mix environment
