Our retained client are a market leading Pharmaceutical CDMO business, they carry out a range of services from development through to finished product manufacture. They have grown rapidly in recent years and pride themselves in a high performing, highly valued team.
Job Description
The Operations Director will be responsible for leading the strategy for manufacturing and supply chain in line with the companies customer focused approach and in line with regulatory requirements. You will lead a range of processes and support line management with problem solving with complex manufacturing processes. The role will be responsible for engineering, supply chain, validation, planning, facilities and EHS. You will improve the efficiency of existing processes and lead new technology projects . You will have a clear plan for the team and implement this through coaching and mentoring ensuring the team have the motivation and skills to succeed.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. Ideally this will have been within a customer focused contract development manufacturing organisation. Furthermore you will have in depth understanding of regulatory requirements with MHRA/FDA on a wide range of products. You will understand the SQCD model of business and have been responsible for operational budgets and P&L.
