A global packaging manufacturer are looking for an Operations Director in Lancashire to lead their site production delivery for customers. The business specialise in sustainable packaging solutions used in many industries and households around the world.
Job Description
The Operations Director will lead a safe fast-paced manufacturing site to deliver product for customers, and improve productivity. You will lead the production strategy to improve performance, engineering and quality. You will ensure that targets for process performance are reviewed and lead route cause analysis to lead a solution driven culture. The Operations Director will lead decisions that directly impact quality, cost and delivery. You will ensure the team are fully trained and motivated to perform their role.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have held a senior leadership role within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Ideally you will have qualifications, or equivalent knowledge of automated processes and engineering. Further more you will understand financial performance and capable of leading a profitable manufacturing process.
