About Our Client

Our client is an Italian company leading in the healthy food industry.

Job Description

The new resource will represent a strategic input to the company's managerial process, aimed at supporting market development in Italy, in line with ethical and company values.

He/she will coordinate also other departments such as Scientific Communication and Sales Management, intervening in the planning of commercial and communication strategies.

After an initial period of training and handover by the CEO and in accordance with company policies, the resource will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Staff functions' operational management, such as HR, Communication, Commercial Back Office, Purchasing, Production and IT;
  • Supervision of Scientific Communication and Sales Management functions;
  • Development of sales analysis, forecasting, budgeting, market and competition analysis;
  • Coordinate and optimise all operational and project activities of the company to make them more effective and aligned with business objectives;
  • Define commercial planning and strategy, identifying and sharing objectives and sales strategies with the structure;
  • Analyse strategy and develop strategic initiatives to improve company performance;
  • Identify critical areas and intervene with improvement and efficiency actions;
  • Ensure the achievement of assigned objectives through the support of precise sales data analysis and market trend monitoring, including competition;
  • Contribute to the process of managerialization of the company culture and its organisation;
  • Contribute to the definition of company development plans;
  • Develop skills and attitudes to grow into a role of larger responsibility (General Management) in the medium term.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education;
  • Proven experience in operational top management roles; knowledge of the pharmaceutical retail and wholesale channels and related distributors is preferable but not mandatory;
  • Background within consumer health-care, healthy food, health science, or high-value-added food sectors with a commercial background;
  • Demonstrated leadership and authority skills acquired in consolidating managerial roles;
  • Analytic and organisational skills;
  • Ability to operate in entrepreneurial contexts with a good level of autonomy;
  • Excellent relationship and communication skills with a results-oriented mindset;
  • Fluent knowledge of Italian and English is required.
