Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end transformation of manufacturing operations in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Design and implement operational strategies to optimize production, quality, cost, and supply chain effectiveness.
  • Identify and deploy digital and technological solutions in line with Industry 4.0 frameworks.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of current processes and propose actionable solutions based on best practices in the FMCG sector.
  • Collaborate closely with plant leadership, engineering, supply chain, IT, and other key departments to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor performance improvement metrics and ensure sustainability of transformation initiatives.
  • Act as the strategic liaison between the business and external operations consultancy providers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of total experience, with at least 5 years in a senior transformation/consulting leadership role.
  • Proven experience in operations transformation and manufacturing excellence, ideally from a top-tier operations consultancy firm.
  • Strong track record of working with FMCG clients on large-scale operational or digital transformation projects.
  • Solid background in engineering or manufacturing operations.
  • Deep knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, including automation, IoT, advanced analytics, and smart factory concepts.
  • Strategic thinker with strong project management and change leadership skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to be based in or frequently travel to manufacturing sites in Malaysia.
