About Our Client

Our Business Partner, a leading manufacturing company of TEXTILES industry, is looking for an experienced ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR to ensure that all human resources (HR), sustainability and quality operations are carried on smoothly and effectively.

Job Description

Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountability, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, compliance and labor relations
Improves organizational effectiveness and productivity by overseeing the planning, development, and delivery of professional development and job-related skill training opportunities
Planning and directing employee training and development programs
Continuous development of people leadership capability & capacity at all levels and the promotion/development of an organizational culture that supports the business strategy and performance objectives
Advises employees and supervisors regarding performance and disciplinary issues, administers progressive discipline and grievance procedures consistently, listens to employee and supervisor concerns, conducts investigations as needed, and recommends a plan of action
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
Formulating personnel systems and strategies appropriate to the company's corporate mission and goals.
Designs and directs and manages a company-wide process of organization development that addresses issues such as succession planning, superior workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, and change management
Directs a process of organizational planning that evaluates company structure, job design, and personnel forecasting throughout the company. Evaluates plans and changes to plans. Makes recommendations to executive management
Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system
Keeps the executive team informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of company goals, and those that are not being addressed adequately at the line management level
Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations
Develop the company wage and salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises
Assists with the development of and monitors the spending of the corporate training budget
Participates in executive management, and company staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Industrial Engineering background is a plus.
At least 15 years of human resource management experience required
Strong background in employee relations and legal compliance, recruitment and selections, performance management, compensation and change management
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the company Board of Directors
Must have strong organizational, management, analytical, supervisory and problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution
Hands-on experience in all aspects of HR management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
