About Our Client

Our client is an European leader in technology and manufacturing, with a strong focus on quality. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Director to join the team and oversee our client manufacturing operations.The successful candidate will be an experienced operations leader with a solid experience in managing medium- sized manufacturing plant or implementing operational excellence standards on regional scale.

Job Description

  • Creation of a high-performing team by setting a high standard, active coaching, and selective talent upgrades. Empowers and develops team through thoughtful delegation and empowerment.
  • As a Plant Director you will be responsible for introducing LEAN methodologies and creating a working environment where they become a part of company culture.
  • Enhancing Safety and Sustainability to reduce the company's environmental footprint and ensure a safe workplace
  • Being responsible for ensuring that the plant's operations are sustainable, comply with environmental regulations, and minimise waste
  • Evaluate and invest in new technologies that improve productivity and reduce costs while maintaining safety standards
  • Ensure that the plant's operations comply with all applicable regulations and implement necessary changes as regulations evolve.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and adjust operations accordingly to remain competitive
  • Building action plans and make operational decision on policies, tactics, and resources critical to the site's operational success thus ensuring successful delivery against targets and strategy (Capex) Maintaining a focus on long-term goals while also addressing immediate needs and concerns
  • Implement a robust cadence to support and monitor execution of the KPIs such as safety, product quality, on time delivery, inventory in the manufacturing plant
  • Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize the supply chain, reduce lead times and improve quality

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the Automotive or related industries
  • Strong LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma implementation experience
  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
  • Previous experience in the automotive sector
  • Strong analytical skills, and the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Result - oriented with a strong track of performance, cost management and bottom-line orientation
  • Excellent communication skills and clear focus on business profitability
  • Native Polish language and fluent English
