Job Description

  • Manage all plant operations to achieve production targets and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee maintenance and engineering activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage budgets and control operational expenses effectively.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and excellence across the workforce.
  • Report to senior management on plant performance and strategic goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Plant Director should have:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of plastic extrusion manufacturing processes or, alternatively, professional experience within the paper mill industry.
  • Expertise in safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and team management abilities.
