A family-owned company in the healthcare sector, optimizing its group treasury and financial assets. They are expanding their teams and internalizing asset management by establishing a family office in Belgium.

Job Description

The portfolio manager's responsibilities will cover trading and execution, reporting on performances, regular economic commentaries, corporate actions, re-balances, idea generation and product engineering, and interacting with market participants/liquidity. Furthermore, be responsible for:

  • Manage approximately €600MM AUM in High Yield and Investment Grade bonds.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies.
  • Perform detailed credit and market analysis.
  • Ensure optimal portfolio performance in line with investment objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • In-depth knowledge of European fixed income markets and managing High Yield and Investment Grade bonds.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective investment strategies and manage index tracking.
  • Proficiency in detailed credit, market, and liquidity analysis.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for explaining investment decisions and performance.
  • Experience working effectively with private equity teams, back office, and treasury teams.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms, financial software, and economic analysis.
  • Ability to identify, mitigate, and ensure compliance with controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactive approach to eliminating manual processes and improving operational efficiency's.
  • Service-oriented, proactive, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Several years of experience in portfolio management, financial analysis, and business administration.
