Job Description

  • Provide legal counsel and support for private equity transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and fund formations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft and negotiate complex agreements and contracts.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Manage and oversee due diligence processes for transactions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legal developments in private equity and professional services.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support business development initiatives.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admittance to the New York State Bar.
  • Strong expertise in private equity transactions and professional services.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi-office environment.
