Job Description

  • Advise clients on private equity transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal agreements and contracts.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessment for transactions.
  • Provide strategic legal guidance to clients on corporate and commercial matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support clients in structuring and closing deals efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments to provide informed counsel.
  • Maintain client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in New York or eligibility to waive into the New York Bar.
  • Strong knowledge of private equity and M&A transactions.
  • Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
