About Our Client

Reporting to the executive board, you will be responsible for Power / Access products, from market share and sales growth to P&L performance.
The Product Director will define, agree, and implement business planning, budget and forecast by product, by region, and by market sector. The scope of the role includes setting priorities to deliver the product strategy and establishing plans with engineering and purchasing for their implementation. The role exists to provide product leadership to the teams in sales, engineering, NPI, operations, purchasing and finance to deliver the budget, forecast and growth plans.
The Product Director will set the commercials and value proposition by product, region and sector. You will analyse the market, sectors and competitors and identify opportunities for profitable market share growth.
You will determine what products are sold, what configuration, pricing/commercials/value proposition, by product, by region and by sector. Your leadership of this programme will better focus the dealers on beating the competition, driving to fewer models, and an increasingly standard configuration, with a streamlined range for maximum efficiency.
You will manage the sales mix, assigning build allocations, and managing the sales incentives budget to deliver the forecast.
The Product Director sets the New Product Introduction Plan to deliver profitable market share growth. You will set the configuration, the specification, and the commercials to maximise growth and profit, working with sales and marketing, project management, engineering, purchasing and operations to deliver the plan.
The role scope includes driving product cost to deliver the ambitious growth targets.
The Successful Applicant
The role requires a self-starting and motivated individual with leadership capabilities, who can work under pressure to tight deadlines. The ability to operate both individually and as part of a team is critical.
You will have the ability to communicate well at all levels, influence other stakeholders, have a good understanding of a sales/commercial environment and be able to act as a company ambassador. A good knowledge of Power products (Generators) or Access equipment is essential for the role
