RMIT is currently undergoing a sector leading transformation internally and is seeking a high calibre and experienced professional to drive this program.
RMIT is embarking on a replacement of its core ERP platform across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Procurement. This program will be entail a significant, multi-year change across all its campuses, faculties and businesses. This role is the Program Director across both business and technology. This role is crucial to the success of the program and will require significant stakeholder engagement, drive and ERP/SaaS experience.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Program Director is directly accountable for ensuring program scope definition, planning and scheduling, change experience, financial reporting, issues and risk management, go to market approach and the overall quality of the outcomes delivered for the program. The successful candidate will also take a lead role in managing, defining and driving third party vendors to assist RMIT in the project solution and outcomes.
This role will have key oversight of both the ERP implementation working with an SI partner and ERP Platform vendor reporting updates to the Vice Chancellor and governing bodies.
This role will also coordinate the delivery of this program with the Enterprise Project Management Office and Information Technology Services, ensuring all related and unrelated projects are identified, sequenced with the change impact understood.
The Successful Applicant
For this crucial role, RMIT require the applicant to clearly demonstrate both Project and Program Management, with experience across large scale, enterprise level change programs.
You will be required to possess the following:
* Demonstrable track record of ERP platform replacements of similar scale, preferably with experience in Workday implementations.
* You will possess in depth knowledge of two key program areas, ERP implementations and SaaS change programmes. Again, there is also a strong preference for experience in Workday implementation.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver large operating model changes within complex environments with a variety of stakeholders, preferably within the Higher Education industry.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead a diverse team across a variety of skill groups, while also holding extensive history in managing internal stakeholders and driving change to a common goal.
