Our client is a renowned services provider with strong regional presence and emphasis on ESG. They are looking for a leader with focus on ESG reporting and framework to ensure that the best practice/deliverable are in place.
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of ESG, the candidate will be leading a small and efficient team while working with other related BUs to ensure that the best reporting standard can be developed. Acting as the go-to person when it comes to ESG reporting standard, you need to advise on the latest legislative and emerging reporting framework and credit rating methodologies on ESG disclosures that can be relevant to the organisation and you will also be the thought leadership when it comes to ESG reporting matters so that hopefully you can enhance the overall company reputation and build awareness that the organisation is at the forefront of ESG agenda.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should demonstrate deep understanding about different types of ESG frameworks and reporting standard and have a good grasp about what combination of reporting metrics will work best. Prior working experience in ESG accounting and sustainable development is ideal and prior background in accounting and finance is a plus.
