About Our Client

Our client manages multiple publications in Thailand and across Asia. Their market is in the Luxury Lifestyle sector and their publications are well know and respected with High Net worth Individuals across the Asia region.

Job Description

Some tasks a publisher may manage during a normal day:

  • Review potential materials for publishing
  • Network with High Net Worth Individuals
  • Drive the strategic direction of the publications
  • Meet with creators and managers
  • Negotiate terms of publishing
  • Manage editors and producers
  • Collaborate with design professionals
  • Develop timelines for production
  • Create budgets for departments
  • Oversee publishing marketing efforts

The Successful Applicant

Requirements for the publisher:

  • Bachelor's degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field like English, creative writing or communications. Advanced degrees or MBA's also preffered.
  • Literary knowledge: Understanding of the type of content in luxury lifestyle. Experience working with Luxury lifestyle publications in Thailand and across the region.
  • Management skills: Experience working with designers, agents, managers, marketing and accounting professionals each day. The ability to manage the publishing process and ensure other professionals meet their goals is important to your success as a publisher.
  • Experience: We require you have substantial experience before becoming a publisher. This can include working in a major publishing house to edit or market books before earning the title of publisher.
  • A strong network in Thailand with High Net Worth individuals.
