About Our Client
Our client is a global company, a leader in their market segment, with well-established presence in Poland. We are currently conducting an executive search project for the role of Regional Customer Service Head & Country Director, to be based in Wrocław, Katowice or Southern Poland. The successful candidate will have matrix responsibility over a number of local functions in Poland and will focus on the development of the Regional Business Services area servicing numerous countries in Europe.
Job Description
- Act as business partner to stakeholders in the region including the Regional CEO and Country Managers across the region
- Work on the strategy, oversee and manage the continued development of all functions in Poland
- Provide leadership to the regional Customer Service team to develop a high performing organisation
- Create effective and strong teams towards effective performance and objectives, secure sufficient pool of resources to perform
- Animate and foster a culture based on continuous improvement
- Support the transition of work to ensure effective knowledge & process transfer
- Ensure best practices are shared across teams
- Develop, track, and communicate key performance indicators
The Successful Applicant
- Several years of experience in an international hub / shared services / centralised services environment
- Track record in customer service, logistics and/or supply chain managing teams on a regional level
- Experience in working in a production company, optimally supervising production processes
- Experience in a multinational environment, with matrix reporting
- Successful track in leading large teams
- Degree level education
- Experience in transition management
- A demonstrated ability to optimise and simplify processes and a drive towards continuous improvement
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Polish are a must
- Drive for results, emotional intelligence, trusted influence, conceptual thinking and process thinking are essential.
- Change management, coaching & mentoring, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are also key leadership skills necessary for the role
- Willingness to travel at least 25% locally and internationally
