About Our Client

Our Client is a well-known organization headquartered in Śląsk voivodeship. They are a strong player in the automotive sector. The company focuses on producing components and working close with OEMs. We are currently seeking to recruit a Group CFO who will support the company in maintaining its strong market position and who will facilitate its further growth in the Continental Europe.

Job Description

  • Support execution of operational and financial strategy on a regional level in Europe
  • Review all the current processes and policies to identify and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Review effectiveness of all manufacturing processes, work on cost efficiency projects
  • Develop finance organizational strategies by contributing financial information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives
  • Work on financial feasibility studies for new projects by thorough assessment of profitability, funding requirements and risks
  • Act as partner to the business side of the organization identifying opportunities for growth and process optimization
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of senior management team and lead the strategy planning within the finance area and beyond
  • Utilize market knowledge and customer relationships to drive insights
  • Focus on productivity, quality, growth and margin
  • Take responsibility for management information on regional level and work closely with PE owner
  • Manage financial planning, periodic financial performance reviews and budget variance, ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations
  • Lead a diverse team located in different countries including SSC based in Poland

The Successful Applicant

  • Years of experience in finance gained in an international sales-driven organization; regional experience, focus and mind-set will a be an advantage
  • Experience in manufacturing sector is strongly preferred
  • Experience in driving change management projects is a key
  • Educated to university degree level
  • ACCA, CIMA or equivalent certification will be a strong asset
  • Successful track record in leading teams in remote locations
  • Experience in collaborating among senior management, business and functional leaders
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strategic view, strong conceptual skills
  • Fluency in English and Polish is a must
  • Possibility to travel occasionally is essential
