About Our Client

Our client is a Global 500, US listed Multi-Billion Dollars manufacturing company. The Regional Facility Director has a critical role to oversee all major facilities in Asia.

Job Description

Reporting to the Global Head of Facilities, you will lead the Asia Facilities team that are located in key manufacturing hubs in Asia; you will also oversee the key non-manufacturing sites including office buildings in the region.

  • Be the leader, set vision and strategic directions for the Asia facilities team
  • Effective management of internal stakeholders and 3rd party contractors/ vendors on all operating and maintaining properties
  • Build business partnership across functions to support the business growth
  • Manage annual operating budget and cost savings targets
  • Lead site FMs to develop factory specific multi-year capital improvement project plans
  • Ensure KPIs and targets set are met
  • Coordinate the operational aspects of the properties with objective to protect, maintain and improve the value of the facility assets
  • Eliminate Factory Interruptions through root cause analysis, continuous improvement and data analysis
  • Improve the effectiveness of the maintenance management program
  • Establish a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work & best practices

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should be a university graduate with a minimum of 12 years facilities management experience with track record of Asia regional exposure, leading multiple sites in different markets.

  • Experience managing 24x7 operations in a fast paced environment, in a manufacturing setting especially electronics, semiconductor or construction ideal
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation or HVAC systems preferred
  • Familiar with dust and air control environment set up, while clean room experience is a must
  • Strong organisation and project management skills with good understanding of commercial lease, contract documents and RFP
  • Strategic leader with sound interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a must
  • Travelling within Asia region and occasional travel to the HQ or other key hubs are required
