About Our Client

Our Client is a leading international financial institution. We are seeking entrepreneurial marketing directors with strong experience in digital marketing who will lead the creation of the marketing strategy and its execution on a number of markets in Europe.

Job Description

  • Responsibility for defining the company's marketing strategy and then ensuring that there are effective plans and processes to bring it to life across the Region
  • Focus on digital marketing and online channels
  • Accountability for marketing performance, both in house and external, leading a centralised marketing and CRM service to support all markets in scope
  • Responsibility for managing the company's brand strategy and offering
  • Leading an international dispersed marketing team and supporting the leadership team as its member and inspirer
  • Improving product marketability and profitability, direct market channel development and coordination of sales distribution
  • Accomplishing marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing sales action plans
  • Identifying marketing opportunities; defining market, competitors' share, and competitors' strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Building close and strong co-operation within with all departments
  • Meeting marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions

The Successful Applicant

  • Several years of experience as a Marketing Director / Head of Marketing / Marketing Manager with a strong focus on digital marketing / online channels
  • Experience in managing a regional or global dispersed team is key
  • Experience in a financial institution strongly preferred (banking, insurance, digital)
  • Extensive digital marketing & CRM expertise
  • University degree or equivalent in BA, preferably Marketing or equivalent
  • Driving results based on a customer-centric thinking, performance / result oriented
  • High business acumen & commercial mindset
  • Excellent communication and representation skills in Polish and in English
