Job Description

  • Develop and implement an integrated procurement strategy for flexible packaging that leverages scale and scope to achieve competitive supply agreements and improve profitability.
  • Establish effective collaboration with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, R&D, and Marketing to align packaging solutions with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, sustainability standards, and risk management processes, including commodity price risk and supplier performance.
  • Build strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders to influence decision-making and drive innovation.
  • Support new product launches by ensuring timely sourcing and qualification of packaging materials.
  • Optimize supplier innovation, technology adoption, and sustainability initiatives (e.g., recyclable and eco-friendly materials).

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Procurement - Flexible Packaging professional should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related fields (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in procurement or category management, preferably in packaging or FMCG.
  • Strong technical knowledge of flexible packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability trends.
  • Proven ability to execute best-in-class procurement strategies and deliver cost savings.
  • Preferred CIPS or equivalent professional certification.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at senior levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in contract management, risk analysis, and commercial terms.
  • Familiarity with SAP and P2P governance processes.
