Exciting opportunity for a Relationship Director - Digital Infrastructure to join a leading UK Corporate & Investment Bank. London.

Role Description

    • Joining a team of 10 existing team members in the TMT and Healthcare division, the new Relationship Director will assume responsibility for a designated portfolio of digital infrastructure client relationships for all products that is aligned with all key partners and understanding the trends and activities of Clients within the specific Industry. Additionally bring on new clients in this sector to grow the portfolio
    • Prepare a strategic business plan for the portfolios within your remit to meet customer profitability requirements and business objectives
    • Find opportunities to develop further income, recommending and implementing the appropriate solutions
    • Lead the client dialogue on behalf of the group and other interested parties, ensuring enquiries and issues are satisfactorily resolved
    • Negotiate terms and conditions of credit facilities and services after coordinating with all relevant parties and prepare the proposal in partnership with Credit Risk colleagues to seek approval for global credit exposure
    • Prepare and present responses to invitations to tender for new and existing business, collaborating closely with other specialist providers as appropriate to enhance the potential for overall business returns
    • Develop business leads and introductions, as appropriate, to maximise business growth for the group
    • Manage any changes to Bank policies, systems, processes and working practices to achieve operational improvement
    • Scope, review, discuss and implement legal and other documents ensuring adherence to credit sanction, Bank and regulatory policy in order to minimise risk
    • Manage, motive, develop and appraise team members so that their individual and collective performance meets the current and future needs of the business

The Successful Applicant

Exciting opportunity for a Relationship Director - Digital Infrastructure to join a leading UK Corporate & Investment Bank. London.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive digital infrastructure (telecommunications) coverage experience with FTSE 100 to smaller fibre clients with high debt requirements. Clients are based in the UK and the US, with some in Europe
  • Very strong market contacts across this sector, with sufficient gravitas and credibility to be in front of CFOs of FTSE 100 companies as the face to the bank
  • Product experience across leveraged finance, investment grade, bonds, infrastructure and project finance
  • Very strong technical experience across credit, modelling, due diligence,etc
  • Strong interpersonal skills and will assist with the development and training of junior team members
