About Our Client

Our client is a family owned soft furnishings business. They have been very successful as a organisation and are now looking to continue their next round of growth. In order to do this they need a highly commercial sales and marketing director who has a strong network within the soft furnishings / department store industry.

Job Description

As Sales and Marketing Director - Soft Furnishings you will be accountable for the following:

  • Direct accountability for the sales and profit line for the business
  • Development of the marketing and e-commerce strategy
  • Lead the Direct to Consumer business
  • Create innovative ranges and product to meet customer and consumer needs
  • Be a key leader within the organisation in order to drive commercial improvement
  • Deputise for the owners in their absence

The Successful Applicant

As Sales and Marketing Director - Soft Furnishings, you will have the following skillset:

  • Strong network across the furniture and home furnishings industries
  • Clear understanding of the customer base and network
  • The ability to manage and grow a D2C consumer organisation
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Adaptable with the ability to pivot as customer expectations change
