Job Description

  • Research the China market, analyze trends and competition, and develop medium-to-long-term business strategies.
  • Plan and execute sales activities, manage sales channels (including distributors), and promote new products/technologies and key accounts.
  • Formulate annual budgets, participate in key projects, and optimize capital turnover.
  • Maintain customer relationships, collect feedback, and optimize solutions with global and local resources.
  • Manage regional pricing, ensure compliance with laws and company policies, and control costs.

Key Results

  • Achieve or exceed annual sales and profit targets in the China region.
  • Grow market share by expanding into new segments and securing strategic key accounts.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team with low turnover and talent development.
  • Optimize sales operations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.



Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead the China regional materials and equipment team, motivate staff, and oversee their performance and development.
  • Abide by company policies and organize team training on core technologies and new products.
  • Collaborate with global teams, organize industry events, and optimize sales and distribution channels.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Director should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Surface Engineering.
  • Fluent in business English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
  • At least 10 years of sales experience in a multinational company, plus 10 years of team management experience in an international business environment.
  • Experience in materials or equipment business, strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Open-minded, cross-culturally competent, and able to deliver results under pressure; industry customer network is preferred.
