Job Description
- Involvement in definition and execution of a competitive sales strategy for the Spanish market
- Collaboration with product management; supporting product definition based on identified market requirements
- Collaboration with marketing; co-ordination of a marketing calendar and participating in various sales & marketing events
- Acquire and assess sales opportunities, including identification and proper coverage of buying centre members and stakeholders
- For international accounts, contribute to a multi-site sales strategy in partnership with the leading sales executive/manager
- Implement a successful sales strategy for designated sales projects and support definition of business cases for prospective clients
- Reach sales targets by initiating and managing sales projects until the conclusion of contracts with new clients
- Coordinate and organize meetings with prospective clients as well as internal resources; prepare and hold presentations and workshops
- Coordinate the activity of various stakeholders (e.g. implementation, service and software partners) in sales projects
- Collaborate with pre-sales to prepare offers and answer to "requests for information"/"requests for proposal"
The Successful Applicant
- 15 years' experience working in sales management in Spain including demonstrable track record of profitable deal closure
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in - front/middle and back office enterprise IT systems and services within the banking space
- Advanced degree
- Postgraduate degree from a prestigious business school would be valued
- Fluency in Spanish and English, Portuguese would be a plus
- Hunter mentality
- Excellent presentation and proposal (RFI/RFP) skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Willingness to travel
