Job Description
- Be a good discussion partner to the SVP China in evolving strategic direction for business growth
- Establishing commercial strategies for responsible regions to achieve the defined business target
- Formulate short and long-term business development plans for responsible regions aligned with China strategy
- Formulate annual strategic targets as well as quantitative targets and direct overall sales and commercial activities in responsible regions to ensure achievement of targets
- Identify new channel opportunities and tailor products offering together with sales tech support team accordingly
- Work closely with cross functional teams (Marketing, Agronomy, Finance, Supply Chain) to drive business growth
- Moniter products and market trends in the marketplace and activities of customers and competitors
- Support development of pricing strategy and drive successful implementation
- Be accountable for proper credit management and cost optimizations
- Participate in key commercial projects as required
- Follow up on complaints and quality issues
- Deliver commercial and financial objectives of the assigned region within guidelines and budget
The Successful Applicant
- University graduated, major in Business, Agronomy, others related, MBA preferred
- At least 10-15 years' experience in Sales, Business Development, and/or Strategic planning
- Business, financial/P&L acumen and a proven track record of effectively driving business growth through geographical/matrix and virtual teams
- Strong focus on HESQ, high ethical standard
- Experience in Sales, Business planning, Strategy, Territory and Key Account management
- Experience in building and developing teams, strong leadership based on self-assurance and belief
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively influence direct and indirect relationships
- Frequent travelling is required
