Our client is a rapidly growing business in the personal care and cosmetics sector. The business is a well known global brand and has grown extremely rapidly. In order to continue its success it is looking for a highly innovative commercial sales director to help grow the business.

The business is innovative and rapidly changing. Any candidate would need to be able to be able to deal with pace of change and uncertainty and be excited about working in that kind of environment.

Job Description

You will be accountable for the following:

  • Effective management and leadership of the sales team
  • Delivery of the sales budget
  • Top to top (or similar) meetings as required
  • Trading agreements across the UK
  • Effective management of in store teams and execution
  • Work with marketing to determine the promotional plan and execute effectively

The Successful Applicant

You will have the following skills:

  • Strong background in consumer products
  • Excellent track record of success in dealing with large scale retailers
  • Excellent understanding of premium brands
  • Excellent people management and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker
