Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales Director is a sales leader, primarily responsible for the development and implementation of the sales strategy. The will extend to managing the expansion of current and new customer base, growing strategic relationships, optimising the company's return from events and raising the company profile as an innovative leader in omnichannel communications.

The Sales Director will lead the Business Development (direct and partner), existing customer revenues, and marketing.

Key areas of the role are as follows:

"Go To Market" Strategy - On-going development and delivery

Drive Revenues - Deliver revenues as per the company's agreed annual budget and the "Go To Market" strategy

Team Management - Recruit, manage and motivate a team capable of delivering the company sales targets within budget

Customer Retention - Develop the company's customers retention strategy aimed retaining customers and growing incremental revenues through account development plans.

The Successful Applicant

Experience of working with cloud communications and understanding of how digital communications technology is transforming customer experience

  • Highly developed communication skills involving senior level customers
  • Exposure to public sector and/or not-for-profit markets would be beneficial
  • A motivated, self-starter able to work on their own initiative and confident at working at Board level
  • Successful track record in digital communication systems sales within an innovative technology-based business.



The role is based from the North West with the need to be in the office 2-3 days per week so candidates will ideally need to be within a 90minute/2-hour radius.
