About Our Client

Our client is a family owned premium branded toy manufacturer. Their products are well regarded and in strong demand. The business has the potential to grow rapidly and is looking for a senior sales leader to help manage this.

Job Description

You will be accountable for the following:

  • Management of the small sales team
  • Distributor and overseas subsidiary management
  • Accountable for delivery of growth both on the top and bottom line
  • Provide structure, process and organisation for the company
  • Help with more effective sales and operations planning

The Successful Applicant

Ideally you will come from the toy industry or at least an adjacent sector. You will likely have the following characteristics:

  • Strong contact book both in the UK and with some overseas distributors
  • Detailed understanding of how to put process and structure in an environment where there isn't any
  • A track record of effective success and business growth
  • String leadership and organisational skills
  • Highly resilient
  • Ideally stepping up into a first appointment sales director role
