About Our Client
Our client is an Italian manufacturing company operating in the beverage industry.
Job Description
The new resource will represent a strategic graft for the development of the company and for the new organisational structure and will be responsible for business development at the Italian level.The manager will be responsible for the main following tasks:
- Guarantee the sales function's operational management on the Italian market, with the aim of reaching targets in terms of growth and profitability;
- Coordinate and optimise all commercial and planning activities, to make them more effective and functional to corporate objectives;
- Define and disclose objectives, guidelines, values and styles of market's approach to the sales network, supporting and coaching them when necessary;
- Train and motivate the sales force;
- Provide adequate support to the sales force, supervising sales negotiations together with direct employees and / or agents;
- Contribute to the expansion of business lines in line with the needs of individual markets and sectors;
- Expand the customer portfolio and retain existing customers;
- Analyse customer needs in order to provide flexible and personalised support and define the good technical and commercial solutions commensurate with specific needs;
- Implement new sales strategies, managing existing customers and developing the business in order to make the most of the production capacity of the production sites;
- Contribute to the definition of the company's development plans.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in the beverage sector, gained in senior sales management roles;
- Proven leadership, coaching and authority skills;
- Attitude to operate in entrepreneurial organisation with a good level of autonomy;
- Excellent relationship and communication skills;
- Result oriented and problem solving mind set;
- Fluency in English and Italian is required.
