My client works with hotel developers, owners, and operators to increase the efficiency of hotel food and beverage operations. With the rapid growth in 15 markets that are looking to bring on Senior Acquisitions Associate (Hospitality) to source new deals and manage the process through LOI.

Job Description

The Senior Acquisitions Associate (Hospitality) will:

  • Leverage existing industry contacts and relationships with hotel owners, pipeline of new hotel restaurant lease opportunities.
  • Develop and implement new outbound sales tools, processes, and techniques to grow market awareness and build Butler's brand recognition.
  • Perform market research and analysis to prioritize new market expansion strategy for dozens of new hotel restaurants across the United States.
  • Prospect, screen, model, and underwrite new restaurant lease opportunities, crafting terms favorable to Butler's business model.
  • Present new deal opportunities to internal stakeholders, effectively communicating each deal's contribution to Butler's broader strategic vision.
  • Own submission of Letters of Intent (LOI) to key hotel stakeholders. Manage the
  • LOI negotiation process from submission to execution.
  • Manage the lease negotiation process from initial draft to final execution.
  • Interface with other internal teams, including operations, sales, brand, marketing, and finance, to ensure success of new restaurant launches.
  • Act as a liaison between Butler teams and landlords to ensure effective flow of communication.
  • Canvass new markets and develop relationships with local stakeholders to drive key target market expansion.
  • Travel to markets across the U.S., conducting market/property tours for potential restaurant opportunities.
  • Participate in management and professional development of pool of Associates and Analysts.

The Successful Applicant

The Senior Acquisitions Associate (Hospitality) will:

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in real estate acquisitions, business development, and/or asset management in retail and hospitality; hospitality start-up experience a plus.
  • Experience in identifying leads, cultivating opportunities, and building robust sales pipelines.
  • Demonstrated history of deal execution within the hospitality sector.
  • Ability to become the subject matter expert and primary point of contact to hotel ownership groups, management companies, and asset managers on
  • Strategic aptness to source the highest revenue opportunities, with consideration to company targets and objectives in each market.
  • Advanced real estate and quantitative modeling skills with a strong understanding of hotel P&L statements and balance sheets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, and sales CRM software
  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
