Job Description

  • Report to the CFO and work closely with the Board
  • Take accountability and ownership of the current corporate finance function and transformation projects, including but not limited to accounting, reporting, consolidation, FP&A, budgeting, forecast, cash flow management and finance business partnership
  • Active involvement and lead in developing the existing finance team to promote a high performing and collaborative culture
  • Represent the organisation professionally internally including senior stakeholders, board members and externally to maintain strong relationships are in place
  • Collaborate and partner with department heads to drive process improvement and evaluate financial tools to ensure it adequately fits business goals
  • Oversee the financial system implementation and enhancement processes

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree with a Bachelor's Degree in accountancy, Finance or related disciplines
  • Qualified Accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CPPA or equivalent)
  • At least 18-20 years in the commercial field with sizable organisations in a complex/ matrix environment from the retail/ consumer products sector (industry relevance is a must)
  • Candidate who comes from a MNC background will be preferred (need not Hong Kong Listed company experience)
  • Demonstrate a strong progressive track record at the senior management level
  • Capable to manage a legacy finance team coupled with the ability to drive the necessary changes
  • High levels of integrity and ethics to maintain financial transparency
  • Title of the position will depend on the candidate (either Senior FD or Deputy CFO)
