We are looking for a Senior Finance Executive (ag) with entrepreneurial mentality to manage the internal team and external BPO providers as well as to steer the financial operations across over 20 countries. The position is member of the wider executive committee and will develop into a CFO position.

The company is a growing innovative software company, offering cloud-based solutions for the industry. The company is based in Germany and operating in several countries worldwide.

Job Description

  • Manage and grow small internal finance team, providing leadership and mentoring, while coordinating closely with the external BPO
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making processes.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies to support business growth and profitability, focusing on scalability and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or CPA/ACCA qualification is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills, capable of leading international cross-functional and diverse teams as well as experience in managing external finance BPO providers and overseeing outsourced financial processes.
  • Strong knowledge of common international accounting standards (e.g. IFRS), and experience with consolidation of financial statements.
  • Proven experience in SaaS or technology companies is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in both German and English in a business environment.
  • High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
