Job Description
Role will report directly to the General Counsel and will handle the following:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, side letters, non-disclosure and other legal agreements
- Reviewing marketing materials for regulatory compliance, handling a variety of other contracts as needed
- Advise on the structuring of fund formation, and related documentation
- Provide support in reference to compliance and regulatory filings
- Assist in managing outside counsel
- Handle other matters as they arise
The Successful Applicant
- JD from top law school with excellent academic credentials and GPA
- Admitted to NY State Bar
- 5-8 years of experience within the Investment Management/Private Funds group of a top law firm combined with in-house experience at an investment manager
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player
