Our client is leading international bank with a strong presence in Switzerland, providing integrated financial solutions and expert advice to Corporate and Financial Institution clients. Operating in multiple locations, the institution has a diverse and international team, serving companies incorporated across numerous countries.

For this mandate, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Relationship Manager to join its Corporate Coverage team in Zurich. This role is suited for an ambitious professional with a strong commercial drive and deep expertise in corporate banking products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with a portfolio of multinational corporations, large private firms, and financial institutions.

Job Description

  • Manage and enhance existing client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and comprehensive product coverage.
  • Identify and originate new business opportunities aligned with the institution's growth strategy and risk appetite.
  • Market the full range of corporate banking products and services, acting as the primary representative to clients and prospects at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Lead, negotiate, and close new transactions in collaboration with product specialists.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with internal stakeholders across various products and geographies.
  • Develop and execute strategic client account plans based on business potential, client needs, and risk considerations.
  • Ensure credit quality, KYC compliance, and regulatory adherence of the client portfolio.
  • Foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, client focus, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team.





The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a relevant discipline, or equivalent work experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial banking, including relationship management and corporate banking product expertise.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to establish and develop client relationships, secure new business mandates, close transactions, and build internal and external networks.
  • Solid understanding of credit risk, transaction services (TS), financial markets (FM), debt capital markets (DCM), and advisory products.
  • Hands-on experience in KYC compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to drive and coordinate end-to-end execution processes efficiently.
  • Results-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving team objectives.
  • Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and high ethical standards.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German and/or French is a strong asset.
