About Our Client
Our client is a market leading, not for profit provider of managed flexible workforce services. They work in partnership with their clients to build and manage staff banks to reduce their reliance on agency staff.
As the organisation transforms itself to better support the needs of their workforce and clients the need to appoint a Service Director for the Bank Management service who can translate these complex aims into a compelling vision and lead a multifunctional team through the transformation
Working for the Director of Process and Change you will be responsible for translating the complex aims of the service and work with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally to create a vision statement for the service. A vision for a service which improves demand management, increases placements and utilisation and develops new services to take to market such as e-rostering optimisation services.
You will be responsible for the design and implementation of service delivery models through various Bank Management Software Solutions.
You will create a service that increases fill rate of roles and reduces the time to fill and becomes a viable independent profit centre.
You will ensure the commercial viability and success of the service, guaranteeing that the commercial model and value of each service option is understood and agree by stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing complex operational strategies which include significant organisational change
Ability to drive change, implement and support the development of new products and services
Extensive experience of contract management in a staffing / recruitment agency ideally in the public sector/ health
Experience of negotiating, implementing and managing commercial contracts of high value
Ability to operate and move between strategic and operational level thinking and delivery
Ability to influence individuals or groups from other business areas in order to develop solutions that work for the organisation, its clients and its flexible workforce.
Knowledge of the NHS workforce and workforce strategies - at local, regional/STP and national level
