Job Description

  • Lead the operational, technical, engineering, supply chain and H&S teams to ensure the site consistently delivers on productivity, quality, safety, and cost targets.
  • Develop and execute a site strategy aligned with wider business goals, driving continuous improvement and sustainable operational growth.
  • Maintain and enhance standards across food safety, compliance, audit readiness and customer expectations.
  • Foster a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and operational discipline.
  • Manage budgets, P&L performance, capex projects and resource planning.
  • Build strong relationships with retail and foodservice customers, ensuring confidence in service levels and product quality.
  • Champion operational excellence through Lean, CI and best‑in‑class manufacturing practices.
  • Ensure the site remains safe, efficient and compliant with all regulatory, quality and environmental standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven senior leadership as a Site Director experience within food manufacturing-experience in ready meals, food prep, chilled or high‑care environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong operational understanding, capable of managing large teams and complex processes.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving site performance, driving efficiencies and delivering results.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence, inspire and build high‑performing teams.
  • Confident decision‑maker, commercially aware, and comfortable operating in a demanding, fast‑moving environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, retailer standards, audits and compliance requirements.
  • Be based in Greater London
