Save JobEmail job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsFMCG company, leader in its industryOverseeing the overall operations of the facilityAbout Our ClientOur client is a FMCG manufacturing company - a leader in its industryJob DescriptionDevelop and implement strategic plans to optimise plant operations and achieve production targets.Collaborate with senior management to align plant objectives with overall company goals.Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.Implement and monitor production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality packaging materials.Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all plant personnel.Provide leadership and direction to plant personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Develop and mentor staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.Optimise the use of resources, including raw materials, equipment, and manpower, to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.Manage the plant budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, reduce lead times, and increase overall productivity.Implement best practices in packaging technology and innovation.Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as senior management, sales, and marketing teams.Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to ensure a seamless supply chain.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
