They will be accountable for delivering sustainable improvements across Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and leadership development.Key responsibilities include:Leading and developing a team of 8 direct reports, fostering a strong leadership pipeline and ensuring robust succession planning across the site.Driving people leadership by promoting a culture of respect, collaboration, empowerment, and accountability at all levels of the organisation.Implementing and advancing the site's Operational Excellence initiatives, ensuring the adoption of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.Coaching and mentoring teams, focusing on talent development and creating a culture of ownership, where employees take pride in their work and drive results.Establishing clear goals aligned with business objectives, ensuring a strong focus on performance metrics such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash.Managing full P&L responsibility, delivering consistent financial improvements through productivity and cost-saving initiatives.Leading the SIOP process and inventory optimisation, ensuring material flows and customer demands are met while maintaining high inventory turns.Supporting new product introductions (NPI) and value engineering initiatives.Promoting a hands-on, inclusive leadership style that encourages problem-solving and decision-making.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate is an experienced and highly results-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
