Our client is a leading global medical technology company that creates medical technology, devices and laboratory equipment for a variety of needs across the healthcare continuum.

As a Strategy and Planning Manager you will be responsible for driving and translating strategy into execution, along with business development activities, business as usual specific commercial projects and continuous improvement efforts.
This is a dynamic role combining project management with hands-on involvement in supporting leadership in planning, delivering and implementing strategic projects. It is an opportunity to work closely with the business leadership and across functions.
You will be responsible for;
- Managing the full project life cycle from engagement with all relevant business partners, through planning, execution and control
- Management of the project scope, quality, budget and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Ensuring highest quality and accuracy through of project deliverables providing verification routinely with the business stakeholders
- Preparing and providing financial models and strategic support in evaluating new business development opportunities
- Work across internal functionals (BU, marketing, and country leaders) to maximise business opportunities
- Delivering and supporting executive communication/presentation
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level within the fields of Business, Marketing, Finance, Strategy or related fields. Previous professional experiences within strategy, business development, marketing, finance or consulting/project work are advantageous.
A Lean Six Sigma qualification and/or other project mgmt. methodologies is preferred.
We are looking for a candidate with a demonstrable track record in the successful delivery of business change projects involving multiple stakeholders. You should have a proven track record with the application of robust project management and change control principles (LSS preferred).
In addition, the ideal candidate will have a proven ability to ensure appropriate communication of project status and reporting as well as be able to proactively drive the day-to-day planning, progress and monitoring of the project, managing risks.
The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to lead cross functional project teams and subject matter experts and to effectively manage and motivate the project team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has the confidence to work independently under own initiative and to collaborate effectively as part of a team. You should have the ability to judge and manage priorities effectively and work to tight timelines and be able to dealing with ambiguity and putting structure around problems with limited guidance.
The ideal candidate will be strategically-minded and result-driven with strong organisational skills. You should possess excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, including written and verbal communication; tailoring the communications to the audience from project team to steering level
