Our client is a company operating in consumer goods that distributes its products at a European level and which, after a start-up phase and strong growth, is consolidating.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement the supply chain strategy, following the group guidelines and objectives
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, indirect procurement, production scheduling, distribution, customer service and information technology
  • Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes to enhance and optimize efficiency and to reduce costs
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply to meet customer requirements
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure supply chain performance, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Enhance the customer experience through customer service team improvement initiatives
  • Drive innovation and leverage technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility, improve forecasting accuracy, and streamline operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, market expansions, or any other strategic initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field
  • Solid experience in supply chain management, with a EMEA scope, gained in a leadership role is required
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, including demand planning, procurement, production scheduling, logistics and distribution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and develop actionable insights
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • Proven experience in driving process improvement initiatives and optimize supply chain operations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial implications related to supply chain decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Fluent knowledge of Italian and English languages is required
