Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

* Design and deploy the national supply chain strategy aligned with corporate vision and local business objectives.

* Lead transformation projects across transportation, warehousing, automation, data-driven logistics, and sustainability.

* Lead transformation projects across network design & customer first last mile design

* Evolve the logistics model towards a robust, flexible, omnichannel operation centered on customer needs.

Operations Management

* Ensure excellence in daily operations for transportation, distribution centers, cross-docking, and last mile delivery.

* Define, together with the Head of Logistics, key KPIs and monitor performance.

* Optimize reverse logistics processes including returns, refurbishment, and sustainable waste management.

Financial & Contractual Management

* Develop and manage the annual logistics budget, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization.

* Negotiate strategic contracts with logistics providers, carriers, and 3PLs to secure competitive and value-driven agreements.

* Build cost models by channel (brick-and-mortar, e-commerce, after-sales services).

Transformation, Innovation & Sustainability

* Drive digitalization and the use of advanced technologies to enhance visibility and efficiency.

* Lead sustainability initiatives in logistics: CO₂ reduction in transportation, renewable energy in warehouses, sustainable packaging, and reverse logistics efficiency.

* Develop automation projects in distribution centers and explore innovative solutions.

The Successful Applicant

Profile Requirements

* 12+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics, including at least 5 years in strategic leadership roles.

* Proven track record in retail, distribution, or FMCG, ideally within multinational and omnichannel environments.

* Strong expertise in supply chain network design (warehouse and last-mile)

* Experience in developing in-house delivery & installation organization and operations

* Strong expertise in transportation, warehousing, capillary distribution, last mile, and reverse logistics.

* Solid experience managing logistics budgets.

* Extensive background in contract negotiation and management with carriers, and technology providers.

* Fluent Spanish and English.
