Job Description
The SVP, Counterparty Credit Review Officer will be responsible for:
- Assessing credit worthiness of various counterparties, including banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds, private equity funds, insurance companies, mortgage REITs, pension funds, clearinghouses, etc.
- Evaluating integrity of existing transactions including appropriateness of risk ratings.
- Developing beneficial relationships with business partners on the first and second line of defense.
The Successful Applicant
The SVP, Counterparty Credit Review Officer should have:
- 10+ years of Credit experience analyzing Financial Institutions
- Experience in counterparty risk, market risk, or capital markets
- Good knowledge of capital markets products, particularly derivative transactions
- Expert risk analysis skills
