Our client, a global technology leader, is seeking a dynamic and strategic SVP Global Sales to lead an organization through a period of transformation and growth. This executive will be a critical member of the leadership team, responsible for defining and executing the company's global sales and marketing strategy, driving top-line growth, expanding into new markets and channels and accelerating growth across international markets.

Our client is a global leader in advanced technology solutions that designs, develops, manufactures and supports hardware, software and cloud solutions for the connected home, smart buildings, climate control, appliances, HVAC/energy management and security markets. This organization is at the forefront of its industry, and thus seeks a Senior Vice President of Global Sales to drive its next phase of growth.

Job Description

  • Define and execute global sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and operating income targets.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and monitor sales forecasts and performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize sales performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote brand visibility.
  • Analyze market trends and Drive expansion into new markets, with emphasis on Climate Control, Energy Management, and Smart Building ecosystems.
  • Build and manage a high-performing global sales and marketing organization across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
  • Develop long-term strategic plans for regions and channels; monitor market trends and competitive positioning.
  • Oversee integrated marketing initiatives, including inbound and outbound strategies to strengthen demand generation.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Technology teams to align commercial priorities with innovation roadmaps.
  • Engage confidently with executive leadership and Board of Directors.

The Successful Applicant

The candidate will bring 15+ years of experience in global sales leadership in technology-driven, B2B environments, a proven track record in channel development and design wins, and deep knowledge of smart or connected home markets. As well, the ideal candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of success in complex B2B environments. This role requires a leader who can build and scale high-performing teams across multiple geographies, foster deep customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to shape future offerings.

  • Extensive experience in sales leadership, preferably within the smart home/connected devices; HVAC; smart buildings; climate control; Energy management space.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective global sales strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
  • Expertise in OEM sales and experience in sectors such as HVAC, utilities, security, or smart home solutions.
  • Proven ability to deliver sales targets and margin improvements in complex, multi-channel markets.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills; experience managing multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
